Their description
of the creature
 1. Mr. and Mrs.   George Spicer
2. They were driving south from Inverness  along the shore of Loch Ness
It was  the  after noon of
 July 22, 1933
Suddenly the plants on the hillside about 200 yards ahead moved and an enormous, long- necked animal came out. 1. The creature was about 6 feet long and stood or lumbered 4feet high.
2. They said that its neck was undulated in the manner of a scenic railway.
3. They further added that the  creature was a terrible ,dark elephant grey, and reminded them of a snail.
  1. Arthur Grant
 2. He was jogging along the loch road near Lochend

On the brightly  moonlit night of January 5,1934 at about 1a.m.  1.He saw a large, dark blob shadowed by the bushes along the road ahead. The object bounded across the road, almost collided with Grant's motorcycle. It looked like a hybrid- a cross between a plesiosaur and a member of the seal family.
1. Tim Dinsdale
2. He was starting out across the loch from a small hillock
In the spring of 1960, April 23  1.He saw a motionless object on the surface of the water estimating the range at  about 1,300 yards.
2.He trained his binoculars on the object and saw a mahogany- coloured shape with the dark blotch on its left side.
Dinsdale filmed a living creature whose appearance matched many eyewitness descriptions of the creature in the lake.
1. Father Gregory Brusey and a visitor.
2. They were enjoying the view of the serene loch from the grounds of the Benedictine abbey at Fort Augustus
October 14, 1971  1. About 300 yards away a great beast loomed before them , rearing its head as much as seven feet above the water, and then swam slowly away.
They said that they felt a sort of awe and amazement .It was rather inexplicable for them as they experienced a feeling of something from another world.

Gathering your ideas from the description of the Loch Ness monster given by the four people in the article, draw a picture of the Loch Ness monster and colour it . You could prepare a poster working in groups.
